The H3Africa funders require that data and biospecimens generated by the H3Africa consortium projects are publicly accessible, with access controlled by Data and Biospecimen Access Committee, see consortium documents. H3ABioNet, together with members of the H3Africa Biorepositories and research projects have developed the H3Africa Data and Biospecimen Catalogue to facilitate searching of metadata associated with the data and biospecimens. The aim of the catalogue is for users to identify datasets, along with their EGA accession numbers and biospecimens, including information on where they are stored. The sets of interest can then be requested via an access request form to the DBAC.
