    An African genotyping array designed by H3ABioNet with the H3Africa Consortium

    H3Africa Genotyping Chip

    H3ABioNet worked with the H3Africa Consortium and Illumina to design a genotyping chip/array with custom content including:
    • Novel variants discovered from African sequence data
    • H3Africa requested markers
    • Clinically relevant markers seen to be polymorphic
    • A backbone of content from existing Illumina probes that was optimised, for imputation
